Literature Text

Looking through the spot-stained window of my heavenly home
I watch the leaves turn colors and shades of flawed beauty
Saddened when they lose their way and fall to the harsh earth
And when all of them are helpless and broken on the ground...
I turn from my window to wait as the seasons change.

Ivory flakes tumble to the baren world
My eyes follow them with the yearning of a starved stray
I cannot look as my fake friends dissapear on the floor
There is no trace of them other than my memories
I must turn away to wait again for the seasons to change.

Sitting on a sodden roof I stare at the fresh world below
There is nothing like the smell of a bright morning's dew
Or the look of emerald grass dappled with flowers that look like rainbow drops
Sadly there is a rumble in the distance and the sky is turning gray
So I must leave again and turn away from the world as the seasons change.

Golden sunbeams filter through the translucent curtains
Spreading nothing but a warm embrace to everything around it
There is nothing like the feeling that is so overwhelmingly full of kindness
Pale clouds come overhead to block the sunlight from view
There is nothing but blue skies to remember it by as the seasons change.

Beautiful words! Love how you describe things, even in detail. Amazing poetry!
